Chinatown Cinema had this title Refused Registration on December 21st 1988. The 35mm print ran 81min. A censored print was never re-submitted, and the film remained unseen.
The Film Censorship Board gave the reason for the ban as 'Gratuitous Sexual Violence'. The problem scene is obviously the opening rape of Chieh-Ying by the five thugs. This sets up a violent revenge plot that sees her eventually murder all of her attackers.
There are currently two Hong Kong VCDs available. The Megastar disc is reportedly the more violent, whilst the Deltamac/Fortune Star one contains alternative footage. A comparison can be found here. The Megastar VCD reportedly runs 77m 16s, which would seem to indicate that this was the version submitted to our censors back in 1988.
