Siren Visual Entertainment had this hentai DVD banned in May 2006. A censored version was passed R18+ (High Level Animated Sex Scenes) in February 2007.
Note that the OFLC database lists different details for both submissions. This is because the second one gives the English dubbing credits.

In addition, both submissions are listed as 'Original'. It's unclear why this is, however the DVD would definitely had to have been modified for the R18+ rating. The Classification Board are not in the habit of allowing anything to pass less than a year after banning it.
Siren released the cut DVD in May 2007 as part of their Hentai Collection.
MY BROTHERS WIFE consists of two episodes. On the Siren disc Part One runs 26m 50s, and Part Two 28m 11s. The sex is hardcore, and there are no obvious scenes that look censored. We know this is not the case, and the running times seem to indicate that Part One has been cut. Also, in Part Two at around the 22min mark their is a threesome between Misa, Miwa, and Takeshi. The end credits of Part Two shows shots of Misa and Miwa kissing that do not appear in this sex scene.
Siren picked up several other features from THE VANILLA SERIES. Many had a troubled time at the hands of Classification Board.
