Up!Dir Russ Meyer / 1976 / USA Columbia Pictures had this Refused Classification in February 1977. The 2181.70mtr (79m 44s) print was banned because of indecency. The film remained unseen in Australia until Reagent Trading Enterprises had a 2119.49mtr (77m 28s) reconstructed version passed R18+ in November 1980. The reason given for the R-rating was: Sex Violence This censored print, went on to have a theatrical release. In February 2006, Madman Entertainment had the uncut version passed R18+ (High Level Sexual Violence, High Level Sex Scenes). The DVD that was released the following month has a running time of 80m 12s (not including the MPAA X-rating card). Reviewing the uncut Madman DVD it is easy to see which scenes would have had problems with the censors in the 70's and 80's. These include:
