Films that were pre-cut before submission to the censors are included here. Such titles are listed as ORIGINAL VERSIONS in the OFLC database making identification extremely difficult. This practice was widespread during the 1970's, though thankfully now it is rare. Recent titles that were cut in this way include the two Hentai titles, CAMPUS and GIRL NEXT DOOR.
The practice is however still rife when it comes to the submission of Hardcore titles. This has been particularly so since the 2000 tightening of the guidelines. 

 Titles that were the subject of controversy, but not censorship. These include films such as HAIL MARY and THE LAST TEMPTATION OF CHRIST.

Compilations such as ZOMBIETHON and SCREAM GREATS which contain footage the OFLC had previously censored.

Films that were released in different versions because of distributor ignorance or laziness.

Overseas (BBFC or MPAA) censored prints that have been dumped on the Australian market.
