Resubmitted by Seven Keys, and passed with an R-rating in December 1971. The print ran 9550-feet (106:06) and was described as being a ‘reconstructed version’. This was 00:36 shorter than the previous submission.

In November 1977, Filmways Australasia Distributors had it passed with an R-rating. Despite being described as the ‘full version’, it ran only 2853.00-meters (103:59).

Two tapes were passed with R-ratings in the mid-1980s. A 104-minute version in July 1984 for Video Classics and a 102-minute version in April 1985 for Amalgamated 16mm Film Distributors.

LOVE STORY received PG-ratings in February 1984, and April 1985. The first for CIC TAFT Video and the second for Pioneer Electronics. Both submissions ran for 95-minutes.

In January 2002, a DVD was passed with a PG (Low level coarse language, Adult themes) rating. Paramount Home Entertainment was the applicant.
