The following games were Refused Classification in 1997.
All were submitted by either the NSW Police or the Victorian Police and were presumably the result of enforcement raids on adult stores.
The Victorian ones may be linked to this case.
June 27, 1997
Fifty police raided 12 stores in central Melbourne, St Kilda, Clayton, Box Hill and Lilydale on 28 August [1996] and seized 6567 pornographic videos and 483 CD-ROMs they believed could be illegal.Charges are expected to be laid over 70 of the videos, which were officially classified at a cost to the vice squad of $14,000.

The article goes on to report that if everything were submitted then the OFLC classification fees would send the police force ‘virtually broke’.
