German adult magazines released in Australia are usually hardcore.

Most are passed as Category 2, but some have been Refused Classification.

No. 4 is the earliest edition in the National Classification Database. It was passed as Category 2 in May 2003.

No. 6: RC

In June 2004, a 100-page edition of NEWS CLIMAX No. 6 (March 2004) was banned.

Claredale Distributors was the applicant.

No. 16: RC

In October 2009, a 100-page edition of NEWS CLIMAX No. 16 was banned by the Classification Board.

This was followed in April 2007, by an 84-page edition of No. 9 (October 2006).

The reason for the refusal was the same.
